Violence, blood, gore, vampires, Nazis, bayonets, the Vatican, Hellsing is back, and better than ever. Forget the original series, the one that shamelessly disregarded the brilliant manga. This is that way Hellsing is supposed to be! There are many contributing factorsto why this is so much better than its predecessor. For a start, the animation is amazing. Truly incredible; it has to be seen to be believed. And the music suits the epic madness of the manga perfectly.<br/><br/>The style and direction is fantasticwell, bringing a wild mood the original lacked.<br/><br/>However, it is not without flaws. A truly dreadful dream sequence and its aftermath almost spoils the piece, and you will be left wondering why the hell it was even present.<br/><br/>But ignore that cringe worthy five minutes, and you will have a truly satisfactory Hellsing experience, something you could never get from the original.
Generally I criticize everything while I watching but Hellsing OVA is an extremely exceptional situation. I was supposed to say this part or that part wasn't reasonable and I saidI was expected. But I didn't really care how many time they'd stayed alive and bullets didn't work on a normal vampire.Story is also good, It would be cuss, If I said this story was superficial. Story is also good and addictive.<br/><br/>Images are perfect and also soundtracks. I recommend you to watch with Japanese dub. I was against this idea because I cant understand what they said. After watching with Japanese dub, I couldn't stand watching with English dub. Dubbing is really good and also crazy laugh of Alucard.<br/><br/>After completing the all series(till the 8th episode), I felt desperate because I have to wait for months to watch 9th episode. I think this one explains how this show made me an addict.

The studios Satelight (OVA 1 through 4), Madhouse (OVA 5 through 7), and GraphinicaxKelmadick (OVA 8 through 10) elaborately worked closely together with Kohta Hirano. As a result, they created the OVA (Original Video Animation) of Hellsing which in terms of the story stays very true to the original material. Each OVA is an almost one-to-one transfer of an entire volume of the manga. The animation is top-notch, justthe music. Thus, the OVAs, which include all the epic battles, are a very worthy transformation from Hirano's blood-soaked comics to the TV screen. In Japan, 9 OVAs were already released on DVD, while the tenth OVA is supposed to be released somewhen in 2012.
